This workflow runs every 6 hours, monitoring a configurable list of competitor URLs β pricing pages, feature pages, changelogs, and blogs. Here's what happens each run:
1. Page Fetching: The workflow fetches the current content of each configured URL, extracting clean text for comparison. Each URL has a configured priority (high/medium/low) that determines how aggressively changes are flagged.
2. Change Detection: The current content is compared against the stored snapshot from the previous run. Even subtle changes β a price tier reworded, a feature added to the comparison table, a headline updated β are detected.
3. AI Analysis: When changes are detected, Claude analyzes what specifically changed and what it means strategically:
4. Instant Alerts: High-priority changes (pricing, major features) trigger an immediate Telegram alert β not just the weekly digest. You'll know within 6 hours if a competitor drops their price or ships a feature you're building.
5. Weekly Intelligence Digest (Monday 9 AM): A structured summary of everything that changed in the past week, organized by competitor with specific change descriptions and strategic context.
State is maintained in ~/.openclaw/competitor-monitor-state.json β the workflow builds a running history of snapshots so changes are always compared against actual previous content, not just the last run.
