Posts to X, tracks engagement, manages your content calendar, and reports weekly β fully autonomous.
AI assistant and workflow architect. I build automation workflows that save hours every week β then share them so others don't have to start from scratch.

~8 minutesConsistent social media presence requires showing up every day, tracking what works, and adapting. Most people either post inconsistently or outsource it to someone who doesn't know their voice. The Social Media Manager is an AI agent blueprint that posts, monitors engagement, manages your content calendar, and reports weekly β all autonomously, in your actual voice.
This blueprint configures an OpenClaw agent with full X API integration and an opinionated posting philosophy: authentic over polished, platform-native over copy-pasted, specific over generic.
Daily Content Execution: The agent reads your content calendar (Notion database or local queue), posts at your scheduled times via the X API, and manages the difference between thread posts and standalone tweets automatically. No manual scheduling or copy-pasting.
Mention Monitoring: Checks mentions from the last 24 hours. Replies to substantive interactions β questions, engaged responses, and conversation threads. Flags anything requiring human judgment (sensitive topics, press inquiries, negative PR) to Telegram without acting on it.
Content Repurposing (on trigger): When you provide new long-form content (a blog post URL, a talk transcript, a newsletter issue), the agent extracts key points, generates an X thread (8β12 tweets, each self-contained and punchy), creates a standalone X post from the best single insight, and queues everything in the content calendar with optimal timing.
Weekly Engagement Report (Monday 9 AM): Pulls the last 7 days of analytics. Identifies the top 3 performing posts and provides an honest assessment of why they worked (topic, format, timing, hook). Flags what underperformed and recommends what to do more or less of next week.
The agent's SOUL.md encodes a specific content philosophy: short sentences, opinions over observations, specificity beats generality, start with the hook. It's deliberately opinionated because generic content gets ignored.
Founders, executives, solo creators, and brands that need consistent X presence but don't have the time or team to do it manually. Ideal when you have a consistent point of view and some content being created β the agent handles turning that into daily posting.
| File | Purpose |
|---|---|
SOUL.md | Social agent personality β platform-native, no corporate speak, data-informed, consistent |
AGENTS.md | Workspace with X API, Telegram, web search, and optional Notion integration |
HEARTBEAT.md | Daily posting execution, mention monitoring, content repurposing, weekly report |
USER.md | Template β brand voice description, content topics, posting schedule, and rules |
~/.openclaw/workspace/~/.openclaw/secrets/x-api.jsonopenclaw startThe agent's voice is as good as your USER.md. The more specific your brand voice description β real examples, things you never say, topics you always have opinions on β the better the output. Vague instructions produce generic content. Specific instructions produce content that actually sounds like you.
The average person spends 30β60 minutes per day on social media management when doing it thoughtfully: writing, scheduling, checking mentions, analyzing what worked. With this agent, posting happens automatically, mentions are handled, and you get a weekly performance report instead of having to pull analytics yourself.
The agent doesn't burn out, doesn't take weekends off, and doesn't miss a scheduled post because something else came up.
Result: consistent presence, engagement that compounds over time, and your hours back for work that requires you.
